Durand Gardens is a surprising oasis on a residential street in Stockwell. Reportedly a plague pit, then a manicured garden it fell into disrepair until it was bought by local residents in the 1980s.
Now it is a woodland garden, perfect for moments of relaxation as well as wildflower and wildlife spotting.
Visited during Open Garden Square Weekend 2016.
