London is known for its squares but little touches make Bonnington Square Garden a step above the average. As well as swings for local children, benches are laid out to encourage conversation and contemplation. The square is sensitively planted with unusual tropical plants and even poems! Easy to miss on first viewing, despite it’s considerable size, is the Helping Hand sculpture above the entrance welcoming curious visitors.
Visited during Open Garden Square Weekend 2016.
